Company registry lookup API for AI agents and KYB

Resolve a company name, domain, registry number, LEI or VAT number to its official legal entity, with status, address, industry codes and LEI. Pay per lookup, no subscription.

Agents and onboarding flows keep needing the same answer: which legal entity is this? The lookup takes whatever you have (a name, a website domain, a registry number, an LEI or a VAT number), asks the official registers directly, and returns the matching legal entities with a match score, the register and licence each record came from, and a link to the source.

Connected registers today: Norway (Brønnøysundregistrene), Finland (PRH), Czechia (ARES), Slovakia (RPO), France (INSEE/RNE), the United Kingdom (Companies House), Poland by KRS number and the global LEI index (GLEIF). More registers are added in a fixed order; a record always names its register. Results are company-level only: no officers, no sole traders, no contact persons.

Pricing is per lookup with no minimum and no subscription. A call that fails is never charged; a search that finds nothing is a valid answer. Add a country code to search one register only, which is faster and more precise.

The calls

Each call returns 402 with the price until a payment is attached; an x402 client pays and retries automatically. Calls that fail are not charged. See Get started and the guide for bots and agents for code.

entity-resolve $0.01 per call

Resolve a company name, website domain, registry number, LEI or VAT number to its official legal entity: registry, registry number, legal form, status, address, industry codes, size where published and LEI.

Questions

Which countries are covered?

Norway, Finland, Czechia, Slovakia, France and the United Kingdom, plus Poland by KRS number and any company with an LEI worldwide.

Does it return directors or owners?

No. Only company-level data, by design.

How reliable is the match?

Every candidate carries a score and a reason (registry ID match, exact normalised name, or name similarity). Treat scores under 90 as suggestions and check the linked source.

Is this a legal or compliance check?

No. It is informational and does not replace an official extract or your own KYB process.
