A matching hash proves the file is unchanged since the capture. The .ots file proves the manifest existed at a point in time once Bitcoin has confirmed it (a few hours after capture): upload manifest.json and manifest.json.ots at opentimestamps.org. It does not prove what other visitors saw. Not legal advice.
